Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success. A huge shout out to Shirlee Weeks, and Laraine Forgrave who personally asked all of Haliburton and area to donate prizes! We couldn’t have done it without Sandi Glecoff and Emily Glecoff who helped shop for cart bag goodies and gave us a really good deal at Glecoff’s. Sandra Cassidy, Robin Begin, Jill Vasey and Sandi Glecoff who helped stuff the goody bags, and day of help, loading up the carts, organizing the prize table, running people up and down the hill…Bonnie Foster, Robin Begin, Emily Glecoff, Shirlee Weeks, Laraine Forgrave, Sandra Cassidy, Sandi Glecoff (although she really did it for tips).
And Connie Wood who took the fine pictures posted on the web site.
And finally thank you to Blairhampton who hosted us.
It was a great day and I hope to see you all next year!

Putters Canada Day Challenge
Thank you to all who golfed at Blairhampton for our inaugural Canada Day best ball golf tournament. The Canada themed golf attire and carts were amazing, the weather was fantastic and there was some great golf played. The Canada golf theme was so fantastic that I could not choose a winner, so I drew group names for the winners. So, the Winners are… drum roll please…Lynne Brady and Pam Dunsford.
Because there were only 2 of them, I drew another…Sharon Dixon, Shirlee Weeks and Nancy Hughes.

We also had other golf challenges and the winners are…Hit the moose on hole #4 (longest drive). Marlene Jones Closest to the Beaver on #7 (closest to the hole). Julie Tolentino Longest putt to the loon on #9. Wendy Miller Congratulations!
Shout out to the team of Jen Coates, Denis Harrison, Andrea Lynch and Kelly Sinclaire who had the lowest score and eagled both hole # 5 and 6! Amazing! All the scores were very low! Well done!

Drivers Canada Day Challenge
The Drivers celebrated Canada Day at Pinestone Resort Golf and Conference Centre. We had a prize for best decorated carts. It was a very fun day. Everyone came dressed for the occasion.

Sandra Cassidy won the prize for best dressed.

Sandi Glecoff and Donna West brought their game with elbows up. Sandi even brought her pet raccoon.

Putters Gull River Albino Challenge
On July 15th the putters played at Gull River Golf Club. Challenges included spotting the albino groundhog.
Here are some pics of the elusive albino groundhog! Most teams saw it (maybe not so elusive or rare) so we drew for the prize.

Kris Petrow, Shirlee Weeks, Lisa Wanger and Sharon Dixon got a selfie with the elusive creature.

It was a hot day! Everyone deserves a siesta.
